1. HOW TO ENTER: Beginning on November 1, 2007 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") through February 10, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Log on to www.truco.com/contest.html click on the icon for ‘What Kind of Tailgater R U?’ Follow the on-screen entry instructions. Must register to win. Submit your favorite photo of you and your friends tailgating with On The Border Products.
2. ELIGIBILITY: Open to residents of the (50) United States and D.C., 18 years of age and older as of November 1, 2007, except for employees of Truco Enterprises, LP. Each photo should contain at least one On The Border® item for reference. Standard prints should be mailed to
On The Border Tailgater’s Souper Bowl, at 10515 King William Drive, Dallas, TX 75220. Digital photos should be no larger than 1MB in size, and must be submitted through the contest registration at www.truco.com/contest_tailgate.html.
3. DRAWING: A winner will be selected each week starting November 5th through February 11, 2008 from among all eligible entries received. Drawing will be conducted by Judges. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Winner will be notified by e-mail and/or telephone within one week from date of drawing. The return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected.
4. PRIZE: Three (3) winners per week. 1st place winning $250, 2nd place winning $150 and 3rd place winning $100 with each winner being eligible for the Grand Prize at the end of the 2007-2008 football season for a chance to win one(1) of three(3) Grand Prizes. The final Grand Prize drawing to be held on February 11, 2008. 1st place Grand Prize winning $1000, 2nd place Grand Prize winning $500 and 3rd place Grand Prize winning $250 and a party supply of On The Border Products! In addition, every applicant who fills out the online registration will win a free twin pack of new On The Border® soups (Chicken Tortilla Soup and Chicken Chowder Southwest Style Soup) via the provided coupon code at time of registration the next time he/she purchases On The Border® products online.
The prize is not transferable, and must be accepted as awarded. The value of the prize may be taxable as income. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted by winner. In the event the prize or portion thereof becomes unavailable, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize without the unavailable portion. If Sponsor so elects, a potential prize winner may be required to submit to, and cooperate in, a confidential background check to confirm eligibility and to help ensure that the use of any such person in advertising or publicity for the Sweepstakes will not bring the Sponsor or On The Border Products into public disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule or reflect unfavorably on the Sweepstakes or the Sponsor as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
5. GENERAL RULES: By agreeing to the Rules and Regulations when registering and submitting a photo, the registered applicant gives the Sponsor the right to distribute, use and publish applicants name and submitted photo(s) as deemed necessary. All income taxes resulting from acceptance of prize are the responsibility of winner. By entering sweepstakes, entrant accepts and agrees to these Official Rules and the decisions of Judges, which shall be final in all matters. By accepting prize, winner agrees to hold the Sponsor, their affiliates, directors, officers, employees and assigns harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use or redemption of prize. Acceptance also constitutes permission to the Sponsor to use winner's name, likeness and biographical information for marketing purposes without further compensation or right of approval, unless prohibited by law. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost or late mail, or for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this sweepstakes, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this sweepstakes. If, in the Sponsors’ opinion, there is any suspected evidence of tampering with any portion of the promotion, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the promotion, the Sponsor reserves the right to modify or terminate the sweepstakes in a manner deemed reasonable by the Sponsor, at the Sponsors' sole discretion. In the event a dispute arises as to the identity of a potentially winning online entrant, entries made by Internet or mail will be declared made by the name on the online entry form or return address if by mail. By entering this promotion, participants (and their parents/legal guardians) waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages, attorneys' fees and or damages other than actual out-of-pocket costs incurred to enter.
