As principal and President of Truco Enterprises, David’s focus is on strategic planning, finance and marketing, sales and product development. David has spent most of his life as an entrepreneur and been involved in many industries from apparel, electronics and investment banking to food. |
His background encompasses all aspects of moving a product concept from ideation to the market including finance, design, patent development, manufacturing, marketing and sales. Prior to co-founding Truco Enterprises, David was President of Sound Memory Company, an electronics company focused on the product development, manufacturing, marketing and distribution of personal digital voice messages. Sound Memory Company received international electrical/mechanical patents and successfully completed negotiations for an international license agreement with a Japanese company.
Previous to Sound Memory Company, David was VP of First Texas Capital, an investment-banking firm where he executed traditional investment banking duties, including initiating a $105 million buyout of a consumer products company.

As principal and CEO of Truco Enterprises, Roy Truitt is responsible for guiding the company’s operations, management information systems, product development, and manufacturing. Roy has spent most of his life in entrepreneurial endeavors and has been responsible for almost every area of business including international manufacturing and distribution, sales, marketing, product design and receiving. Prior to Truco, Roy was Senior Vice President of Win-Tex Company, Inc., an international sourcing, manufacturing, marketing and distribution company importing products from 17 countries. Along the way, he received an exclusive distribution agreement from Sam’s Wholesale Club to distribute products to Russia.
Roy Truitt is a Registered Professional Engineer with a degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as a MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. |
