Two true Texans - Roy Truitt and Dave Silver - formed Truco Enterprises more than 15 years ago. Committed to their roots, Roy and Dave were immediately drawn to the idea of offering a Southwestern food and beverage line with that authentic Mexican flair. They began their search at Southwestern and Mexican-style restaurants, wanting to discover just the right taste that would combine these two worlds. On The Border® restaurants have a reputation for high-quality food, superior service and a pleasing atmosphere; they blend the essence of the Southwest and Mexico to create the ideal chips, salsa and margaritas. In 1993, Roy and Dave formed a partnership with On The Border® restaurants, bringing that experience to homes around the world.

Truco’s On The Border® (OTB) product line established credibility in the Southwest before expanding throughout the United States as well as internationally. The first OTB product to hit the shelves was the signature Frozen Margarita Mix. Quickly becoming a leader in the drink mix category, the road was paved for the rest of the OTB family. The OTB line up currently includes a variety of tortilla chips, dips, and drink mixes. |
However, the road doesn’t stop here for Truco… Roy, Dave, along with the rest of the Truco family, are dedicated to delivering the best possible product to our consumers. Along with our company, the line of On the Border® products will continue to grow and develop, starting with an assortment of new drink mix flavors, frozen foods and soups. |
