trans-fat banner survey contest

Here Ye! Here Ye! Buckethead Members Far & Wide…

The results for the Buckethead ‘Trans-Fat’ Surveys are in! Before I start announcing the winners for the best and most complete thought provoking answers, let me first thank each and every one of you who participated. By doing these surveys, it’s like I get to know each of you a little better, like we’re all just part of one big, happy family… And with springtime being here and summer just around the corner, I will be expecting some pictures of you crazy Bucketheaders partying around the poolside (or wherever) so that I can post them on our website, and put a face with some of your names!

Now, what we’ve all been waiting for! (Drum-Roll please……)

And the Winners are…

1st Place – Winner of $300 - Karen B. from Bloomington, MN
*Comment on “Would you purchase a bag of chips if it had Banner B on the packaging?”:

Yes – I’ll give it a try because it is more healthy and hope the taste hasn’t changed. Thanks for telling me – the consumer – that you are willing to change your product, packaging and all that it entails to make a healthier snack!

2nd Place – Winner of $200 - Jennie A. from Manasquan, NJ
*Comment on “Which of the Banners are more attractive – A or B?”:

B – Two font styles make it more eye appealing. The gradient only being on the tail of the banner gives it more movement, fluidity than Banner A. (Sorry – these kinds of questions should never be asked of a fine arts major!!!)

3rd Place – Winner of $100 – Jared M. from Davenport, IA
*Comment on “Does Trans-Fat influence you purchasing decision?”:

Being that I am always thinking about my health and the affect of the things that I stick in my body, I like to know how much trans fat something has in it. Coming from a family with a history of heart problems, it is important for me to watch this.

*** CONGRATULATIONS ***
And thanks to all of you for being on our Buckethead Panel!

Of course, I can’t possibly pass up the opportunity to post a few of our other Buckethead Survey Comments… Can you tell which ones are the DIE-HARD Bucketheaders?!?!

Honorable Mention:

-Melissa L. from Flushing, MI

Bad Fat. Mean, nasty, rotten, artery clogging, heart attack causing gunk that is a part of the yummier foods available. (Darn carnivore tendencies)

-Lara D.

If I wanted to eat some chips, the chips having no trans-fat or cholesterol would justify my eating the chips!

- Kelly L. from Youngsville, LA

Alright, you didn’t have a sometimes, depends on what it is, like when I’m cravin’ Buckethead ‘ritas & chips with a side of salsa & another side of ‘ritas, who’s lookin’ at the label?!

-Connolly

What in the WonderfulWorldofBucketheads is Trans-Fat????? Do margaritas have trans-fat? If so, I would make a good test-speciman…

-Gramy & Papa wrote

I love Buckethead just as it is (Ahhh, you’re too kind! So… will you adopt me?! – BB)

Once again, congratulations to all and thank you for being on our Buckethead Panel! We look forward to your input in the future!

Thanks again and keep on posting your thoughts, you’ll never know when Buckethead Brain will pick your name as the next winner.

Cheers!
